We can take you from simply organising what you own to decluttering and removing surplus items all the way to minimalism, which is not everybody’s dream, and sometimes not practical.
Being Professional Organisers we do not judge but give advice and help you decide what you want to keep and what you don’t. It’s about working through it together and you being supported and comfortable with your decisions.
Get in touch / Book a free phone consultation
Once I receive your contact form or booking request I will send out a short questionnaire so we can both prepare for the phone conversation that follows.
Initially, we have a free 15-minute phone conversation at an agreed time, so that we can find out whether we can work together and for me to better understand what you are after. You can also send me photos of the problem areas if you want. We can also meet on Zoom if you like.
Book your first session (three or four hours in-home)
Once we think we can make it work, we book an organising session and we come to your house/office, where you show us around and we work out a detailed plan forward that we can then start working on. I always recommend starting small, and we may be able to achieve some goals on the same day.
We will also give you advice when it comes to how best to dispose of what you do not want to keep, as we work closely with charities and op shops and want to get the best possible value for you and the least amount of garbage in the end. We can take any recyclables straight to the waste management facility as well.
Make it work for you
You can then decide whether you want to move forward on your own or whether you want one or both of us to continue to help. This could mean that one of us comes over daily, weekly or fortnightly to work through what needs to be done, or we schedule retainers once a month where we support your efforts and give you a reason to stay focused. It is really up to youm and some clients only need a couple of sessions to find the motivation to keep going on their own. Our standard sessions are three or four hours in length, and longer sessions are bookable as well. I find that six hours is the maximum time anyone can declutter at a time, particularly if there is some decision making involved.
